SCARFS AND HATS

Winter has finally arrived – we had our first snow of 2012 last week and the temps have plummeted – single digits here this morning.  A good comfy scarf will come in handy if you are headed outdoors today.

We have yarn for all kinds of scarfs.  There are probably as many different kinds of yarn as there are uses for scarfs.  There are the warm ones, the lace ones, the lightweight ones, ones that act as a fashion accessory, soft ones, silky ones, wide ones and the list could go on.

Some of our newest yarns make up into a stylish scarf and are very simple to knit.  Lots of different colors to choice from.  Come in and see the sample scarfs and ask us about making one.

We also have Henry Paws – handmade, finger less mitts made by our own Linda.

We have beautiful hats made by Chris Alexander.  Each one has it’s own, one of a kind design.  Some are made from her reclaimed yarns – a combination of handspun alpaca,  reclaimed cashmere and silk that are handspun together.

If you are looking for a skein of yarn that will give you a lot for the money, we have Cascade Heritage Sock Yarn.  Shari made a child’s hat and still has enough left to make another hat or some mittens.  It’s a very nice yarn.

Sue, save some of the blue ribbon yarn for me. My sister is in love with the scarf that I brought with me and has requested another in blue!
